Rapper Travis Scott has been arrested in Paris after an alleged fight with his bodyguard.
The "Sicko Mode" rapper was taken into custody early Friday for allegedly attacking a security guard at Paris' luxury Georges V hotel, after the security guard tried to break up the fight between Scott and his bodyguard, French prosecutors confirmed to USA TODAY Friday.
Scott, 33, was arrested for "unspecified violence," the prosecutor's office said, adding it has opened an investigation.
USA TODAY has reached out to Scott's reps for comment.
On Thursday, the "Goosebumps" rapper was in the stands with Quavo watching the Olympics men's basketball semifinal game between Team USA and Team Serbia.

This is the second reported arrest of the Houston native in recent months. In June, he was arrested in Miami following an alleged incident at a marina. The rapper was booked at a Miami-Dade County correctional center on charges of trespassing and disorderly intoxication, online records showed.
Officers responded to a disturbance on one of the yachts, where people were fighting on the vessel, according to the arrest affidavit. Authorities said they observed Scott standing by the dock and yelling at the people onboard. When officers made contact with the rapper, he "began continuously standing back up," disregarding commands to sit down, and his breath smelled strongly of alcohol, according to police.

Police claim they told Scott to leave, and although he initially did so, he soon returned, and officers observed him walking back toward the yacht. After he began yelling and "becoming erratic disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings," he was taken into custody, the police report said.
In May, People and Entertainment Tonight reported on an altercation between Scott and Cher's boyfriend, music executive Alexander "A.E." Edwards, in Cannes.

Video reportedly showed an altercation between Edwards, Scott and others at nightclub owner Richie Akiva's "The After" party at a private villa after the AmfAR Cinema Against AIDS Cannes Gala. The fight came after the "Butterfly Effect" rapper and Tyga were seen on stage together, according to Entertainment Tonight and TMZ. There are differing accounts regarding who started the scuffle, and the reason for the spat has not been reported, though Edwards is a friend of Tyga, 34, and both Scott and the "Rack City" rapper have dated Kylie Jenner.
No serious injuries were reported from the fight.
